Designer Code of Conduct

Student or post graduate student status:
All designers that apply for membership on Dreamflow Design MUST be undergraduate or recent graduate students of appropriate art or design courses. Dreamflow Design does NOT allow membership to designers who are not recognised as undergraduate or recent graduate students from appropriate art or design courses. Any fraudulent or false information given to Dreamflow Design will result in the individual being removed indefinitely from the site and any transactions being undertaken at that time shall be cancelled.

Requirements of Dreamflow Design designers:
Please:
1. Ensure all work posted onto the site is original and not plagiarised from member designers or from other sources. If any work is deemed by the Dreamflow Design team to be plagiarised by internal or external designers concepts, these will be removed and the offending slot in the project revoked without payment.
2. Do not upload Clipart or any Clipart derivatives as completed designs.
3. Do not post external links to your designs.
4. Do not attempt to post any contact information anywhere on this site.
5. Do not leave impolite remarks or comments anywhere on this site.
6. Do not discuss plagiarised designs on the project pages.
7. Ensure that your designs do not include anything that could be offensive or illegal.
8. If using photographs within your design work please ensure that you own the legal copyright. All photos used should indicate the source of purchase.
9. If providing photos / images of individuals / buildings you
must ensure that a model release form has been completed for each  person / building and that this is emailed to Dreamflow Design. Draft model release forms are shown:

10. Read the Design Brief carefully and ensure that you have complied with its requirements.

Uploading designs:
Designers should only attempt to upload artwork onto the Dreamflow Design site when they are confident that these files are original.
Submissions must be in JPEG,PNG or GIF format for the web image and EPS or AI format for the vector file before the end time on the project page. No other formats will be accepted.
Follow the guidelines for uploading files in the various required sizes.
You will be required to upload each design file a maximum of 3 times if necessary (this will ensure that your designs are displayed on the site to their full potential).

Payment:
Once a project is completed, all designers that have registered for a “paid slot” will receive a payment for their slot corresponding to the type of project being held. However, if the design work is deemed to be inappropriate by the Dreamflow Design  admin, then the designer will have voided their slot and payment will be held by Dreamflow Design until resolution.
In addition to paid slots, designers are entitled to receive an additional payment if their design work is deemed by the client to ( as ranked by them) to be one of the best three designs.

Ownership of winning designs and further file development:
When a project holder (a client) has selected you as a winner, you may be asked to deliver the design file in another format (eg vector format for further manipulation) for an additional payment. If this subsequent work is completed within the designated time frame and the files have been approved by the client, Dreamflow Design will send you further payment in accordance with the pay scheme. If however you are unable to complete the file in another format within the designated time frame, Dreamflow Design reserves the right to offer the translation of such a file to the design community.

Ownership of all design files are transferred over from the designer to the client when the project is finished correctly. Dreamflow Design reserves the right to display any past project artwork and designs on its site.
Failure to complete the design work in the timescale stipulated will result in Dreamflow Design completing the project , ensuring that the client requirements are fulfilled.

Good practice and disputes:
If you feel someone has copied your work, you must contact Dreamflow design. You must send the name of the project and the numbers of the slots that are included in the dispute. We do not allow designers to talk about any plagiarised work on the contest page. Similarly, if you have any other issues relating to malpractice and other designers please feel free to contact the Dreamflow Design administration.
Adverse discussion about designs on Dreamflow Design via third party online or forums or chatrooms will result in the removal of the designer from the Dreamflow Design team.

Breach of any of these points will result in the member being removed from the site for an indeterminate period of time.
